Concerts for Well-being
and rejuvenation

When: Ongoing throughout the year
Cost: Free to participating organizations
CMC believes that classical music should be available to everyone. The Concerts for Well-being and Rejuvenation brings the healing power of music to people and places who because of disability or circumstance, do not have access to live performances. CMC partners with health care facilities, community centers, meals programs and other organizations where music can make a vital difference. These onsite concerts promote community, creative interaction and therapeutic benefits. Performances feature the best, young classical musicians from all over the country and the world who are at the beginnings of their professional careers. These 45-minute performances are designed to be interactive and for audiences who may not be familiar with classical music. Each performance concludes with a brief question and answer session with the artists.

“The musicians performed beautifully and their answers to questions were very thoughtful.”

- Jeaneane J. Quinn, MSW, LSW Social Worker - Rush University Medical Center
