Get carried away with the emotion of the holiday season with the Do-it-yourself Messiah. This unique musical experience gives you a chance to sing along to George Frideric Handel's masterpiece, Messiah.

The performance is led by a professional conductor and is accompanied by organ and string quartet. It also features celebrated soloists. As a member of the audience, you become part of the chorus, singing along with this time honored Chicago tradition. The Do-It-Yourself-Messiah has been a Chicago holiday tradition since 1976.

The Do-It-Yourself Messiah has become a holiday tradition for me and my family. Singing Handel's masterpiece with other like-minded singers is uplifting and gets everyone into the Christmas spirit.
